Kakai a Californian based tech company that has recently rolled-out their latest tablet PC/eBook reader that will feature two 14.1 touchscreens – Kno Tablet.

Kno tablet experience much more interactive and akin to reading an actual book. It is designed to act as a textbook replacement for students allowing them to carry around this one device instead of lugging around multiple books. At just 5.5 pounds it weighs less than most single text books, and has 16GB of internal memory and supports both Bluetooth and WiFi.

Each screen will feature a separate battery allowing for up to 8 hours of use and it will come with a stylus as an added bonus. A price point has yet to be determined though the company states that they are aiming to release it for under $1,000.

But also French and Italian readers will be able shortly to read books in their languages, thanks to other agreements that are almost ready to be formalized.

ASUS has recently rolled-out  their ASUS PA246Q LCD Monitor. An array of display products catered towards the needs of different market segments. The Designo ML Series LED monitors, the VG236 and PG276 3D monitors, the PA246Q professional monitor and LED projector will all be showcased at Computex 2010 at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC).

The latest ASUS PA246Q professional display uses the P-IPS panel to provide an ultra-wide viewing angle. This LCD monitor is also optimized for color accuracy and Adobe RGB color space to deliver the most precise color reproduction.

The ASUS PG276 features a 2ms response times, a double-speed 120Hz refresh rates, the anti-reflective ‘colour shine’ technology, a couple of DVI ports, an HDMI port and a VGA port. The ASUS PG276 is expected to be available to purchase in June 2010 for around $550 each.
